In 2005 my aunt was dying of cancer. I went over daily to help take care of her and visit with her. She had gotten to the point to where she could hardly eat anything at all. One night when I was . . . more

Patty H.,
Hello. You said and I saw it off-Gather:
"I posted on someones article yesterday a birthday wish for you. SOrry you missed it. I hope you had a wonderful birthday."
Hey, hey -- wait a minute! It wasn't like that at all. When I wrote this article, the last comments that I saw were -- for example, on Robyn's article -- from Ken K. Even though, I scooted over to express my gratitude in a comment later, and did so . . .
My plan was to return next week and visit each one of you with a personal thanks. Believe me, I am far from through. As I stated, my parents taught me correctly. But you made me feel so guilty, I came back onto Gather, and I'm going to make some moderations now.
Wow, wow, wow!
I guess we goofy people must stick together, huh?
Wow, wow, wow. Your expression, Patty, done so sweetly and kindly, well . . . that expression of "catching more flies with honey than vinegar"? I feel so guilty. If only you had been mean, I would have laughed, and moved on.
Love and hugs to you, Dear One. I see the article about your Aunt. Though I had not planned to read any articles today, since I am a cancer survivor, I would like to read that one. Again, sorry that I did not acknowledge everyone. My sister is greedy of my time, and I am also trying to regulate some Young Ones in my home from afar, or at least trying to get someone else to do it for me.
The Young Ones (adolescents, 19 and younger) are having a blast, TOO MUCH of a blast, and I think I regret leaving them there. The 17 year old is maturer than the 19 year old (thank God for THAT).
Anyway, I would like to read the article . . .
